My Background

As a loving husband and father, I share many of the same hopes and aspirations as my clients.

My 30's included the birth of two wonderful children, a new house, the death of my parents and a battle against cancer. To say that I experienced a number of life changing events in a short period of time is an understatement!  As a cancer survivor, I truly understand the peace of mind that comes with having a proactive financial plan in place to ensure your loved ones are taken care of both today and in the future. After beating cancer, with a 2 year old and 18 month old, it often made me think about what would've happened had I lost my battle. Because of this experience, my practice is dedicated to:

1. Helping clients design proper risk management strategies to protect their loved ones, their assets and their lifestyle.

2. Implementing strategies to accumulate and protect your assets

3. Educating clients on the benefits of tax efficiency in retirement planning

I've also helped a number of widows & widowers, including my late mother, so I fully understand how overwhelming the claim and consolidation process can be once you engage all aspects of planning. I strive to simplify this process for the remaining spouse and any children that may be involved. As I share with clients, my role is to identify assets, ensure they are working efficiently and (if applicable) pass them to the intended beneficiaries in the most tax-efficient way possible.

To be a better financial planning resource for my clients, I've earned the following designations:

  • ChFC® (Chartered Financial Consultant)
  • RICP® (Retirement Income Certified Professional)
  • MBA (Masters of Business Administration)

I routinely attend retirement & financial planning workshops hosted by the Nation's leading experts to benefit you!  I'm a proud member of NAIFA (National Associate of Insurance and Financial Advisors) and MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table).

What does all of this mean to you? It means that I combine current academic research along with professional and personal experiences to customize a plan for your unique situation.

Of course, my background isn't really the one that matters. To be the best possible adviser, I've found that getting to know my clients – what's most important to them and what keeps them up at night- is the most important step. So if you're looking for someone who is ready to put their profesionnal and personal expertise to work for you, I'd welcome the opportunity to be your trusted adviser.
